Nursing Mother Arrested Burning Daughters Hand Over Missing N170.

A nursing mother has been arrested and locked in prison for the the burning of her daughter hands over stolen/missing N170.

The mother was brought before a Shuwa migistrate court in Adamawa state,through the help of community members.

Neighbours who witnessed the incident reported the abuse of the child to the community response network in the area which swang into action and got the mother arrested.

The Head of the community response network Mr Sanusi said the was handed over to officers of the nigeria securit and civil defense corps after confessing to setting the little girl hand on fire over the missing N170 which was later found with the little girl.

The NSCDC handed Warda over to the police who arraigned her before Shuwa magistrate’s court.  The court ordered that the mother be remanded in prison custody.

Godiya has however been taken from the mother and is now in the custody of Adamawa State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
